Vince Foligno was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois. In 1982 he relocated to Houston with his wife Marilynn and their two children Nick and Melissa. Recruited by Randall's as a Store Director, he and his family settled in the Cy-Fair area of greater Houston. Vince worked for 18 years as a Store Director with Randall’s before joining the H-E-B company in 2000. Currently he self identifies as a conformed Texan, however occasionally pining for a real Chicago-style pizza. He plans to retire from the full-time journey of his current job in 2019. He looks forward to enjoying some more leisure time with friends and family on the golf course. He currently has a near par game if he is counting.
Vince loves building relationships with others as people are his true passion. He spent several years as a top store leader for H-E-B before changing course to become a Wine Stewart. He will tell everyone the past 12 years in the wine business has been his favorite. He currently has the enviable position of Wine and Beer Manager for H-E-B Vintage Market.
Vince loves to educate himself and others about the many variations of wine taste and quality. He expanded his wine proficiency through extensive study, developing his own discriminating palate and traveling to the wine regions of California, Europe and South America. Vince has numerous accreditation's, achieved the level of WSET II certification. Vince helps others broaden their knowledge of wine by providing daily tastings and good old fashion conversation. He regularly conducts seminars and dinner pairings with the Cooking Connection here at his store.
